The primary mission of the Kentucky State Treasury Unclaimed Property Division is to safeguard the unclaimed assets of Kentuckians, to work diligently to reunite owners with these assets, and to proudly service the citizens of our great Commonwealth.
Any entity or person in possession of property subject to KRS 393 that belongs to a Kentucky resident is considered a holder of unclaimed property and is required to report that property to the state.
